Confused Help me understand

My sister was diagnosed with Polymyositis. almost 1 1/2 yrs ago. Since than she has been getting worse and worse. She does not leave the house anymore. She is bound to a weel chair, and has lost almost of her hair. She does not know anyone nor any support groups for this dissease. She is lonly and would like someone to talk to who can relate to her. I am her 24 yr old sister she is 27. I miss my happy go lucky sister i knew 2 yrs ago. please if anyone can help me understand what she is going through, And if there is anyone who could help my sister by letting her know that she is not alone i would appreciate it. I am sorry to hear of your sister's struggles! I am thankful that she has a sister like you!!!

I have never heard of Polymyositis so I went on a little search!
