Laugh New here and don't EVEN know where to begin!

Hello all! I don't even know what forum I should be in. Some of my symptoms are like MG, some are like MS. Was diagnosed about 6 years ago with fibromyalgia, hypothyroidism, raynauds disease, high blood pressure, chronic fatigue, and bells palsy. All this happened after being hospitalized with pneumonia. I am 44 years old and for the last month have been having "old symptoms" as well as some FUN new ones! Last month I got the pleasure of adding peripheral neuropathy and hypokalemia.
I have reading everyones posts here for a while and feel a bond with everyone. It's hard (and frankly embarrassing) to try to explain to people about my illness, when on the outside, I look "healthy". So I don't tell people anymore than "I'm just tired". It saves time, and those strange looks of, "Yeah, right! You look fine to me!". I don't know exactly where to post, fibro board, ms board, or MG board, but I am certainly glad I found you guys!

People I know like to say "Well, I'm tired too!". (like it's the same)

Well, howdy and welcome to the community! It's a good place to be. You can post on any and all of the forums, wherever you feel comfortable. Many of us "frequent" more than one forum.

Hi and welcome to NeuroTalk. There are MG, MS and Fibro forums here so you can read and post on any or all of them.

It's so hard to try and explain any of these conditions to others who don't have them. After a few minutes their eyes sort of glaze over and you know they really aren't listening to you any more.

Glad you found us here and hope to see more of you around the site.
