I'm sorry to hear of your mother's condition...  I'm not sure where to direct you here at NT... but I did find a couple of outside links that have some very interesting information. National Institute of HealthHopefully someone will come along and know which forum to direct you to here. In the mean time.... please feel free to roam around and join in anywhere! We're also good listeners for those times when you might just wanna have a good rant. We've been there too.

Welcome to NT
Our mothers are our strength. I too am sitting at the hospital with my mom today. She is having blood loss issues. I hope you find info to help you with caring for your mom. There's lots of people here who understand what you're going through and have been there. Take care of yourself too.
