Smile Hello and Welcome!

Hello MarkyMadison and WELCOME to NeuroTalk!

I'm sorry to hear of your mother's condition...

I'm not sure where to direct you here at NT... but I did find a couple of outside links that have some very interesting information.
National Institute of Health
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1523432/

New England Journal of Medicine
http://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMra052732

Hopefully someone will come along and know which forum to direct you to here.

In the mean time.... please feel free to roam around and join in anywhere!
I look forward to seeing your around the board.

Abbie

So sorry to hear about your mom! You're terrific to be right out here on her behalf. Like Abbie, I can't point you to anything specific to your mother's case, but I'd suggest starting a thread on the Aneurysm Forum:
http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/fo...daysprune=&f=7

Introduce yourself there & tell them what you know so far about your mother's situation. Ask questions. I'm betting folks there will be able to help you find answers, perhaps direct you elsewhere on NeuroTalk.

Please let us know how things go with her diagnosis & treatment plan, & how you are. There are great folks here, ready to help both you & you mom at every stage. We hope you both find strength in each other, & in what you find here.

We're also good listeners for those times when you might just wanna have a good rant. We've been there too.

Welcome to NT

Our mothers are our strength. I too am sitting at the hospital with my mom today. She is having blood loss issues.

I hope you find info to help you with caring for your mom. There's lots of people here who understand what you're going through and have been there.

Take care of yourself too.
