Default Hello

Hi everyone, my name is CherokeeT, and I'm a sweet little southern Cherokee/Irish girl who just happens to have seizures, Lupus, fibromyalgia, and a couple more of the auto-Immune diseases. I've also had two mild strokes (all this by the tender age of 40-something) I have a VNS implant to help with my seizures. I'm hoping to find people that can relate to what my life is like, share experiences - good and bad, and maybe some advise now and then, tho no med advice from me. I don't have any commas & letters after my name! Have I come to the right place?

Default Hi CherokeeT...

It's nice to meet you. And if you're looking for a place to talk with people who understand what it's like to live with the added burden of a chronic illness, then yes, I think you have come to the right place. Lots of friendly people here, and very compassionate. I hope to see you become an active member, and I'll be looking for your posts! Take care!

Thumbs up Hello and Welcome to NT

CherokeeT,

It is great to see come and join in with all of us.

How long have you had your VNS and has it help you? Why I ask is I too have had one implanted. Some people say it helps and others say it does'nt. I am one that thinks positive because it has help me a lot.

Hope we can talk more. Again welcome.

Darlene
