sorry to hear about your father. My father was disabled and I know a bit about being a child of a disabled parent. My father was also a neurologist at the Mayo Clinic and consulted on Lou Gehrig when he came for a Dx. He claimed to have made the original Dx of ALS and knowing him and his reputation I am sure that he did.
