Default New here

Hello everyone,
I am new here but not to being part of forum support groups. I find that the ones I have joined have really helped me to manage my health issues mentaly and also suggestions that help with the physcial part.
I am anxious to be a part of this group.

I have been dx with lupus then they changed it to scleroderma, I have Raynauds along with all this other stuff, now they changed it to UCTD with features of scleroderma, lupus and with neuromuscular involvment and perhieal neuropathy. I am hypothryoid also and am photosenstive. My life has changed dramaticly in the last few years because of these illnesses. I have just quit my job (I have worked full time plus for over 25 years at the advice of my neurologist and have applied for social securtiy disability, (by myself) for which I think now I made a mistake, should have hired a lawyer.
Well, enoungh, I am 57 female with four children which are my life, been married for 37 years to the same great guy.
Again, happy to meet you all.
Susie

Welcome to NT, Susie. Sounds like you have alot to deal with but you're right....being a part of a forum and being able to discuss things with folks who understand is very comforting.

It's usually a little quiet around here on holiday's but I'm sure once everyone gets back into their day to day routine more will be stopping by to welcome you to the group.

Heart Welcome Susie!

It's great to have you! I agree wholeheartedly - a forum like NT can make all the difference in the world. We sometimes start feeling isolated from our loved ones because of these issues we battle. But here, we ALL are in this together and we understand one another.

The forums here are not only full of support & understanding, but there is MUCH valuable information as well.
The SSDI forum will be very helpful to you. You don't have to feel alone with your application.
I hope you can gain the upper hand with your health struggles.
Many here will embrace your trials

You've got FRIENDS!
Rae

Default Thank you to all

Thank you to all, who have welcomed me so openly. I really do appreciate it. I am just getting used to finding my way around the site, so I hope I do not make any mistakes posting in the right area. Please let me know if I do. LOL.

I have met so many good friends through the forum groups and feel so blessed because of it.

Again thank you and hope all are having a great labor day weekend.

Susie
