Hello!
![]() I've been reading this forum a guest for a long time & the info is always on point. Today I finally registered and plan on interacted. I'm 45 years old and it is very difficult to sit, stand or walk for me. I can't do any of the things I used to enjoy. I have several health problems to include symptoms from a previous ACDF w/plating (12/31/04), Brachial Neuritis, Lumbar Radiculopathy, Fibromyalgia, Chronic Pain Syndrome, SI Joint Dysfunction, Gluteal Tendinitis, Meralgia Paresthetica, & Chronic Headaches to name a few. In September my PM doctor (one of the md's I worked for) took me of work as permanently & totally disabled. He implanted a Percutaneous SCS on 11/21/13 & within a few weeks, it stopped working properly. I had a revision with the NS & he did a thoracic laminectomy & put in a paddle lead on 3/17/14. I'm still recovering from the surgery but praying to God that this gives me some relief as my trial did. Any Fibromyalgia/Meralgia patients with SCS's? Thanks! QB |
