Looking for help! The accident was over a year ago and my husband still has pain in his upper jaw and nose. We have seen oral surgeon, ENT facial plastics, endodontist, neurosurgeon, neurologist, and a sinus specialist. All we hear is "well, it's not (fill in the blank) but I don't know what it is. Sorry, I can't help you.". Well, living with pain at 8-10 for 14 months is taking it's toll. Anything anyone could suggest would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Thanks for your suggestion, but TN has already been ruled out.

I just wanted to add my Welcome as well!
![]() I'm sorry for this ongoing pain your husband is suffering. I know how frustrating it is to have people 'downplay' what is going on and ultimately cutting into your quality of life. My first thought when reading your post was a nerve issue like what Darlene suggested, but this has been r/o. Feel free to roam the forums and post wherever you'd like. We do have a very informative Dental forum here and it's possible something might get hit on that has been overlooked prior. Might be worth a try? Here's the link to get you there: http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/fo...sprune=-1&f=89 It's great to have you here and I do hope you can begin to get answers very soon. Rae ![]() |

Have you looked into nerve damage in the face?I had severe damage to my face do to a car accident in 1987 and I've had facial pain in the same area. The nerves that were damaged are behind my nose. The sphenoplatine ganglion nerve. I would check into that if you haven't already.
