I'm new to the neighborhood and wanted to say hello!
![]() I had a discetomy a year ago, pain again a year later another MRI showed fragments. but it wasnt until a few month later that I started have this burning awful pain in the side of my calf just below my knee.. So pain in my glut but nothing compared to the pain just below my knee. it didnt start out a burning feeling but a knawing feeling ...then the burning that felt like I had a chemical burn, couldnt even touch it with a sheet. Have had one tranforaminal shot about 2 weeks ago. the burning pain is not there but I still have this horrible knawing pain along with hardly able to put pressure on my leg when I first wake up.. I understand this pain is from my L5 nerve being pinched but has anyone experience these weird sensations? the burning? I am on fentanyl patch and oxycodone for the pain. But the pain is still unbearable.. help? Thanks Nikki |
