Wink L4-S1 fusion soon, family affected

I am 47. I was injured at work in 5/09. They have already fused C5-6 in early 2010. I think more than the pain, it is how this affects my family. I am worried about the surgery but am ready to get it done in order to resume a real life with my family.
I am not in the best shape of my life, (due to the past two and a half years). I really like this forum. Thank all of you for posting what you have been through.
