Default Hello everyone

I came to this Forums through a google search for hiccups. I put my two cents into that thread and found myself looking around.

In 1998 I crushed one of my L junctions and lost all saddle functions. I went through emergency surgery and made a full recovery. My back is stronger than it had ever been.

My Oldest son compressed his disc earlier this year although not as bad, also needed surgery and 8 thousand dollars and 8 months later he is also doing great. So I suppose we are one of the few Successful Father/Son Back surgery members here. Fortunately either through good insurance or in this case enough money in the bank I suffered no financial set backs. The big guy really goes to bat for those that care to keep in contact with him.

I am about to move back to the United States (Monterey California) after working in South Korea for nearly 8 years, so life is about to get interesting again. I have been working the P2P Forums here for several years and both Administrate and Moderate several help forums. I hope I can bring a little computer based help when needed. I certainly have a good working knowledge of connectivity and can really get around a router pretty good.

I have bookmarked this site and I will enjoy looking around and reading post. Really hard to say what will happen but I have already learned a great deal.

Cheers

Not only can I say Welcome!!! I can say "HALLELUJAH", boy do we need computer people here. We have a computer forum and I'm always asking my questions there so you know I'm gonna pester you sometime. I have one computer in my home which I rarely get to use so I have to make a decision to save up for a netbook or a tablet. The netbook is cheaper so I'll probably go in that direction. Haven't got a router yet. Don't need one. But when I'm ready to get started, I'll probably give a holler.

You might be sorry you came here. lol

Take care, Melody

Thanks Melody, I do look forward to helping as much as I can. I will be moving back to the U.S. In early February so I will be stuck with my laptops until my Desktops arrive from Korea. I should be able to get my bookmarks back easy though since I use Xmarks to get them back wherever I go. Firefox for the win.

Heart Greetings to all, I'm happy to be here: well, sort of!

Hello NeuroTalk Members,

I just happened upon this forum while searching the internet for 'post concussion symptoms' and if they can manifest 40 years after the event.

I still havent found out a definitive answer to that question, but think I'm in the right place, with others who share their own experiences and have been through the "Doctor Circuit" and come out feeling as if they need to be their own personal physician. I'm not here to bash doctors, in fact, I have the hightest respect for the profession, but feel that with managed care and specialized medicine, it is almost impossible to find a doctor who has the ability to spend enough time with you, and a broad enough knowledge base, to treat those of us who have complex health issues.

For me, my 'complex health issues' are, by symptom(not cause end effect, becuase I havent figured out that hierarchy), Stress!!, Severe Obstructive Sleep Apnea, Panic Disorder w/depression, brain fog, sluggish endocrine system, memory loss increasing, loss if motivation and passion for life.

So, with that into, who wants to be my friend?!! Can we fit in a phone booth?
Seriously, I've found that I have to try to keep my sick sense of humor to stay sane.

So, HELLO!
Lets Talk
AzManAtHeart

ps- that is Arizona, not ASSMAN!
