Hey everyone!

I'm a, rather healthy, 21 year old college student recently diagnosed with Thoracic Outlet Syndrome. It's been a frustratingly long haul with a lot of doctors, surgeons, and physical therapists. I was originally diagnosed with impingement syndrome in my right shoulder due to competitive swimming at 15 but recently the TOS symptoms have gotten rather bad. I've been banned from swimming and almost all forms of cardio that I used to love. Getting muscle blocks done tomorrow though so we shall see! I've read quite a few of these threads and thought it was finally time to join!

Laugh Hello alaskagirl!

Welcome to NT! Glad you decided to join!
I'm sorry to hear that you're not able to do the things you love. That's the worst part of having a chronic pain issue.
There is so much support and understanding here!
You'll be amazed with the TOS forum, Darlene has given you the link to get there.

It's great to have you with us!

Caring,
Rae
