Default Interested in Geschwind syndrome at the moment

I don't have time to write much at the moment. I have to sing in a concert this afternoon put on by our church choir; music all about the parables, one of the pieces a fiendishly difficult one by Benjamin Britten. I need to practice some more.

I found out about Geschwind syndrome last year when I read a book, "The Midnight Disease" by Alice Flaherty. The description sounded like me. I wish I'd known about this unfortunate grouping of traits years ago--not that I could have changed myself in any way, I suspect. By now, the personality is pretty well fixed, and I'm not bothered as much as I used to be when I was young. Guess I've mellowed. Obviously, tho', not so much that I could resist writing to unknown people about a subject I'm rather fascinated by. Besides, the desire to write--anything--is strong at the moment. Probably some of it is stress. However, I thought the few threads I read on this subject were interesting.
