Hi Terie,

So sorry to hear about your situation. I know how you feel, I use to be really athletic myself before my injury.

I have never had that type of injury or surgery that you had, but I do know how numbness feels.

It sounds like maybe you are having nerve pain, which is pretty commen after reconstructive surgery. I would talk to your doctor about an anti infamitoryand talk to him about your concerns.
Does your pain move down your side? and if so where?

Maybe a screw or something is touching a nerve or something. Ice also works wonders for nerve pain too.

I hope that helps. Hang in there!
