Default Hello!

I'm new to NeuroTalk.. I was diagnosed with Chiari Type I a few months ago although it was discovered in a MRI. I didn't know what the world was wrong with me until I bothered to look at my medical records and saw Arnold-Chiari malformtion, What is that? Well, to make along story short I became asymptomatic about a year ago and it took them about that long to rule out everything else, except the Chiari...after a 3rd opinion(a specialist at Walter Reed Medical Center) at my persistence I will be having my decompression surgery on 11 Jan 12..herniated tonsils approx. 8.75mm and that's a result of the MRI(laying down). I experience severe neck pain radiating down my entire right side(numbness, tingling..vertigo dizziness u name it I have it..etcc.. the migraines just started becoming unbearable about 4 mos ago..ugghh). I feel like everyone thinks I'm making it up, but BELIEVE ME, THERE IS NO FAKING AT ALL ON MY PART!!! Please pray that surgery relieves these symptoms, I can't imagine living the rest of my life this way, I'm only 40yrs old...
Bernie
