Default Hi from Down Under

I came across this forum, when trying to find out what could be wrong with my husband, he seems to have the symptoms of Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy, (I had never heard of it before) we are in the middle of tests and doctors visits. I found there is so much on this site, I have widespread osteoarthritis, chronic pain and a few other things so this looks like a good place to be. I also would like to lose some weight and get motivated so I will head there first. I am looking forward to contributing and meeting the people here.
Cheers
Dee

Welcome to NeuroTalk Mayden.

Unfortunately I don't have the answers that you seek, but I did want to say hello and wish a fellow Aussie a very Happy New Year.

Thanks Koala, I have been there, it is great. hubby's hands are so swollen, nothing in the xray results today, very frustrating. At least we can see in the scan of his shoulders that they are very swollen. We will get the blood test results tomorrow. He is also booked in for injections on Friday, so that may ease his pain a little.

Very hot today, waiting for the cool change.

I just wanted to say hi
I'm so sorry for what your husband is going through....it is such a terrible type of pain.
I hope his injections find some relief for him.

All the best,
Rae
