Thumbs up Hello, I'm new here

I'm Jill and I am dealing with severe neck pain. I use a tens unit 3+ times daily. I have no idea what started the neck pain. I wasn't in an accident and didn't hit my head. My neurologist sent me to a pain specialist to deal with this new onset of symptoms. I will be having a block done in my neck on Wed and then we are to talk more about having a stimulator put in. I am actually looking forward to it because the pain I am in will get better. I may have to deal with more pain to get there, but the end result sure seems worth it.

Smile Hello Jill!

Welcome!

I'm sorry that you're here because of this pain
The good thing, tho, is that there are options out there and it sounds as though your Dr is working with you to find some form of effective pain control.

I have an SCS and am happy with it. It's quite a process in getting one, but we have many folks here who've gone this route. Check out the SCS forum link that Lara has given you. It's listed in the main menu as a sub-forum in the "Medications & Treatments" section.

It's great to have you!

Caring,
Rae
