Unhappy TBI and chronic migraines

Hi,
I am new here and don't know my way around yet, but I was in a car accident in 1991, and have suffered from horrific migraines along with confusion, dizziness and memory problems. I have seen several neurologists who tried all of the drugs to prevent the migraines...the antidepressants, anti seizure, beta blockers....they turn me into a walking into walls zombie.Nothing worked. I am no longer to able to work and am on SSI disability, which limits the treatment that is available to me.

I was having success with Relpax and cutbacks resulted in taking it off the allowed drug list. My doctors don't seem to understand the connection between the car accident and the migraines, get annoyed and are tired of my complaints and my depression is off the charts these days. I also lost my teeth in the accident. I went to a Dental School and had many surgeries for bone graphs and dental implants since the bone loss was severe and regular dentures were not possible but now Medicaid won't pay for the teeth if implants are involved so I have TMJ issues which trigger migraines if i try to chew and have frequent infections of the implants from eating on them without teeth.

I am beyond frustrated and was wondering if anyone here can identify with my situation. I live alone and feel alone with these problems. Feel free to contact me, I provided my info, or post...I only hope I can find it when I log in again. I'm ok once I learn something but have to get used to the way the site works. Thank you for taking the time to read this...am looking foward to meeting some new friends.
