Confused dagm131

Hellos All This is my first post ever so really don't know what I'm doing. In may 2006 I had a c5-6 acdf, went back to work in aug 06. Pain is now back full force and have just scheduled a posterior revision acdf on c5-6. Doc says he has to clean up the mess the other doc made. I have a pseudoanthrosis. He also said this one will hurt alot more than last. Anyone have this done, if so how did it go, how was pain and how soon did you go back to work, my job entitles lifting atleast 100 pds, thanks to all and God bless.
