Red face med change parkinsons

Hi,
My name is Vicki and my 75 year old dad has had parkinsons for 12 years approx. he has been doing fairly well on his sentimet 25/100 3x a day. He took a pill @ 8:00am, 1 @ 2:00pm and the last at 8:00pm. He didn't have much energy so his Dr changed him to Sentimet 50/200 ER twice a day. He seems a little confused lately. He has been on it for about a week. Has this happened to anyone else when you changed over?
