Default New to this and curious....

Hey everyone! I dont know if this is the right site, but will give my info on my situation... In 2008 i was diagnosed with pseudotumor cerebri and had to have emergency brain surgery (VP shunt). I have been in the hospital a few times with increased intracranial pressure since then and also had a baby in 2010. I have only had 3 lumbar punctures since the surgey and every time my opening pressure has been way too high even with my shunt. I started again with sever headaches and dizziness again in December 2011 and have been constantly seeing my neurologist and NS since then. About 3 1/2 weeks ago my whole left side has been tingly and somewhat numb and still is. Jan 19 2012 my opening pressure on my lumbar puncture was 38 (normal between 12-18) and they drained the excess CSF off to make the pressure around 16. When i seen my NS again he reset my VP shunt in hopes of helping. Well, I also have a collapsed right ventricle in my brain (the side my shunt is on) and i am still having severe headaches, tingling, numbness, severe dizzy spells and so forth. My Neurologist is referring me to another specialist in Vanderbuilt now. I seen my surgeon today and he said it dont sound like a shunt malfunction but cant explain why my pressure has been so high constantly even after my surgery..... Has anyone ever experienced anything like this or have any input on what could be going on???? Thank you all for taking the time to read my post!
