Welcome to our rooms,

I would start with a neurologist first.

Welcome to NT!

You've come to a great place for support and understanding. I agree with the others in that a neurologist should be seen as soon as possible. They can be hard to get in to see without a long wait, so perhaps you should inquire with your family physician and they can go from there. If it is pretty urgent, they should get you a priority appointment with a specialist...(if that even exists .....priority appointment?)

Please hang in there. Definitely check out the Post-traumatic Head Injury forum (Darlene gave you the link)

You are not alone - you're among friends.

Caring,
Rae

Hi there.

Welcome to Neurotalk.

You should see a brain specialist who will run the necessary tests. You'll never know if your headache is related to your injury when you were 18. So that's why specialists can be important.

But once they find out what's going on, you'll be well on your way to seeking treatment. Not easy I can imagine but you've landed on one of the best websites on the internet. We are very friendly and there are others who walk in your shoes.

So here's hoping that by now you have made some calls, found a specialist and you are on the way to getting some answers. Then you can go to the forum that was provided and you can get some more answers.

All the best

Melody
