Smile Hi, I'm back!

Hi all. I wasn't even sure if I was a member here, but I apparently was b/c the
last time I visited this site was in June of 2008.. So, it's been a while!

My name is Suzy, I'm a 48yo wife and mom to 3 boys, ages 26, 23 and 21. I suppose I can't call them "boys" anymore...

I was diagnosed with Cervical Dystonia in March of 2005. My symptoms started around October of 2004.I have to say that I was rather lucky getting my diagnosis so soon, after my symptoms appeared. I've read stories where some people had to wait years before being officially diagnosed with Dystonia!

I went to a symposium about Dystonia and met a lot of folks w/ various types
of this disorder. It was funded by the Dystonia Medical Research Foundation.

Well, I just wanted to re-aquaint myself with this site, and say hello to the folks out here!!

Suzy

p.s. Does anyone know what "Tags" mean, right below this form, we write our messages in? Just curious.... Thanks!

Hiya and welcome home.

I think the tags are from certain words you have used in your topic that will allow you and others to search out other posts that include them. Such as if you press TAG and look for the word DYSTONIA it will take you to other topics about this.

Xx

Default Hi Suzy!

Welcome!

Glad you've 'come back to life' here! It'll be great seeing you around the forums and getting to know you.
1963, eh? That's when I was born too! 2 weeks after Kennedy's assassination to be exact.

Anyway, it's great to have you! This is such a great place to hang out

Rae
