Default Hello from the Pyrenees

Hello, I found this forum while searching for nuralgia help online. I have been suffering for about 6 weeks now and it is driving me insane. Even writing this is a chore.
I work online so at least I don't have to get up and commute to work but even so life is almost unbearable at the moment. I actually have not been diagnosed but all the signs are there.
My cheekbone and temple are tender if I touch them and the pain is a sharp stabbing pain which spreads right across my face, teeth and head. Only on my left side.
I would normally describe myself as reasonably fit although I am a type 2 diabetic. I have never smoked and jog around the mountain trails where I live a fair bit.
I am praying that the pain will go away soon. I really feel sorry for people who have had this condition for years.

Andrew
