Default Hi! My name is Terri-Lee

This is my first time ever finding a support group for my ongoing Idopathic Scoliosis (Curviture Of The Spine). I have had to date 16 operations for scoliosis and need operation 17 very soon. My first surgery was at age 14 years old and I am now 48. I just find that I am recently not handling all of this anymore and really could use some help talking with others that may have gone through these same surgeries, one after another?? If, so, I am also available to listen and fully understand everything you may be going through in this area of health issues.

Smile Hello Terri-Lee

Welcome to NT!

You've sure come to the right place for support and understanding. I'm so very sorry that you've been dealing with this most of your life. What you must be going thru.
Please make yourself at home here - this is a very down-to-earth place. We all build strength from one another and it's just good to know that we are not alone.

Darlene has given you some good links to look into. If you ever just need to talk or give and get emotional support, we have forums for that also.

It's so nice to have you. You're among friends.

Caring,
Rae

Default new here hoping this is a good fit for me

my name is kelli. I have actually been around reading a lot of posts regarding back pain and mri. I was diagnosed with scoliosis but was never seen for it as a teen. Began having pain where it effected my dailylife approx 5 years ago. However, now my pain is horrible. To the point I am in bed as much as possible when not worki ng. I am a manager/server in a very busy restaurant. I love it however when I come home my husband has to help me with even dressing and putting me in bed. So humbling and embarrasing. I am 40 and used to exercise at leas 3 days a week active everday all day. Now this.......
Somedays I dont want to live anymore if this is it.

sorry this is so long. Anyways had first mri yesterday cervical and lumbar. still need thoracis I believe. I also has tingling and loss in my arm, hand , leg pain and bottom. Just dont have much hope that this mri will show anything but I have never felt so poorly. And its def in spine feels like it grinding and ,like worse toothache ever lol great analagy right? Anyways sorry!!!

LOL HI
