Default New from uk.

Hi. I'm hazel, 32. Going through a tough time trying to find out
what is wrong with me. Had cts/Mri and bloods. All fine. Still suffer daily headaches/burning and swelling sensations and some numbing on face.

One reason I'm having trouble getting help is I suffer with severe depression
and because scans are clear they won't do anymore tests. Although I bed bound a lot and cannot tolerate telly/ loud places/ walking etc.

Anyway this isn't the place to go on abut that sorry!!

Just wanted to say hi to everyone. It's past 2am here in the uk. Should try, if it happens, to sleep lol. Look forward to getting to know you all xxxx

Smile Hello Hazel!

Welcome Aboard!

This is a great place for support and understanding!
I'm so sorry about these painful symptoms you are having. You are not alone. There are many caring people here. Check out the Headache forum:
http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum32.html

This is the perfect place to vent! Lots of us come here for that . Better to let it out here as opposed to our families, yes?

I too suffer from depression. Heck, it goes hand in hand with chronic pain. Maybe I'll see you over at the Depression forum. Darlene gave you the shortcut link to get there.

Its great to have you here!
I hope you will begin to get answers SOON!

Caring,
Rae

Default SYMPTOMS point toward TMJ / Teeth Grinding at Night

Hi,

I have similar facial pain and associated headaches. I have since been treated with a mouth guard that gets adjusted every two weeks. This has decreased the facial pain and headaches quite a bit. Medical doctors are not trained in diagnosing TMJ disorders, neither are dentists. You basically diagnose yourself and then go to an orthodontist to get an appliance made to see if it helps any.

Sincerely,

Frank
