Default hello

Hello everyone
I can't believe I found a forum for Merelgia Parestetica. I was diagnosed almost 2 years ago. I also have fibromyalgia, arthritis, depression and a couple other syndromes. Anyways I am in my second marriage, I have 2 beautiful daughters 17 and 14. I have several dogs and several horses. I dont ride like I used to but they still are my passion.
I look forward to meeting some new friends!

Smile Hi FCG!

It's very nice to meet you! And it's great to know that your favorite color is purple...

I'm glad you like the site, and I hope you stick around. We could use some of that good cheer you seem to have...

I don't know much about MP, but I do live with secondary fibro and varying levels of depression. I look forward to seeing your posts on those forums, and to talking to you again!

Best Wishes...
Idealist

Default thanks

Thanks

I was looking for articles on Merelgia Parastetica and found this site.
MP is where the femural cutaineus nerve is compressed and causes numbness, tingling and sometimes the pain feels like I am being stabbed with a hot knife. It will wake me up at night.
I too have a list of ailments
fibromyalgia
CFS
depression
MP
anxiety
ADD
arthritis
osteoarthritis
spurs on the spine
.........................................
looking forward too talkking with everyone.

Sherri

Hi fibrocowgirl,
I'd like to hear about your horses!

I have one - a Pinto BS mare that is 15yrs old -but only green broke - not very rider friendly LOL -so I haven't ridden her much at all.
Maybe this year....
But I did have a awesome palomino gelding during my teens and had him for 20+ yrs.

Hey there and welcome! I saw that "Cowgirl Up" and grinned! My brother was a professional bullrider for many years, and I've heard that term a lot at the rodeos I'd attended.

It's great that you found us and we hope you make yourself right at home!
