Grin Hi Everyone! Cali girl here with RSD/CRPS 1

Hi Everyone!

My name is Nicol Hannah, I am 25 years old and have recently been diagnosed with RSD in my upper right extremity, it has since spread to my left side ;( It started from working at a corporate job as a repetitive strain injury in December of 2011, and now I have lost my job, and the RSD appears to be spreading to my left side.

I'd like to meet other people in my are who also have RSD, and it would be nice to talk to others who have gone through this process also.

Thank you!

Smile Hello Nicol!

Welcome to NT!

I'm so sorry you are up against this very frustrating condition, especially at your young age. You've found a great place for support and encouragement tho! Many folks here suffer from RSD, so you're sure to get good feedback.
Here's the shortcut link to get you to the RSD forum:

http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/fo...aysprune=&f=21

Make yourself right at home. People are easy to talk to and you'll be welcomed with open arms. I'll probably be seeing you around because I suffer from it in both legs and lower back.

It's great to have you here Nicol!

Caring,
Rae

Smile Welcome!

Hi Nicol,
I'm sorry to hear that you are struggling with RSD. I've had RSD since I was 19 years old and now I'm 28. I know how truly difficult it can be to have RSD so young; although, at any age it is terrible. I've lost a lot of friends, not to mention jobs, hobbies etc...If you ever need to talk, or cry or vent, we are all very supportive on this board.
Just curious what area of Cali are you from? I'm living in Sacramento with my parents.
Take care!
