My name is Tommy and I'm 51. I've had Occipital Neuralgia for 11 years. I the only thing that has worked perfect for mr is prednisone in high doses. I currently have two implanted neurostimulators.
The saddest thing I see, even at my own home, is lack of compassion for those with chronic pain. I wouldn't wish my pain on my worst enemy, but I would teke your pain, if it meant you didn't have to endure it. I recently lost my job of 24 years, but I don't blame them. I used all of my sick time and 4 weeks os vacation time for 11 years. I'm at a crossroads now. I am disabled, this isn't going to go away, in fact its getting worse. Peace to you all. May you have a painfree day and may you be surrounded by caring people. Tommy |
