I am facing the dilemma of having MS but because of our insurance not able to get my most needed medication. When I call to get medicine I am told our deductible is too high making it impossible to afford it as well.

There are lots of patient assistance programs for MS medications. Here's an excellent site that can give you lots of options.....http://www.needymeds.org/indices/pap.htm.

try calling the drug company. they are very good at helping you find ways to help pay. i have ms and take a weekly injection of avonex. i use acceddo pharmacy and they are great. luckily my insurance is good and they pay for it, but i know others that have gotten help through the hospital (cleveland clinic) and the drug company. if you go to the ms society website i believe http://www.nationalmssociety.org/liv...ex.aspx....you can find ways to get your meds. good luck. the website is a good start to learn about ms and ways to change your lifestyle to help deal with the disease..
