Hi, I'm here because I have no where else to go. (No Offense
![]() I am 31 years old, athletic, a military veteran and I got Shingles in August of 2011. In September, at the tail of the Shingles, I had an excruciating pain in my back right shoulder blade. It lasted about a week and half. Ever since then I've been unable to take a deep breath. After about six months of wrong diagnoses, I have learned that my right diaphragm is not moving and stuck in the 'up' position. The only reasonable assessment is that my right Phrenic Nerve is damage/paralyzed. The thought that I would have to deal with this for the rest of my life is scary. My activity level is near zero because I can't exercise longer than two minutes before I have to stop to catch my breath. Does anyone know what my options are? Surgery, holistic, dietary? Thanks ahead of time for any help anyone can offer. --Christian |
