Frown Post-Concussion Syndrome Please Help! 15 years old

Ok, so let me tell you guys my accident, it all started Febuary 9th, 2012, on this day it was 10 days after my birthday so i had a lot of money and i asked my neighbor to hang out and order pizza hut and he said he was with people but yeah to go over, before i went i was having headaches and now that i think of it i was taking headache medication i probably 99% had a concussion , but wasn't very familiar with them since i never had one , my brother is a high school football player and had 3 and in all he was knocked out i never was so i didn't think so whatsoever my parents were saying due to my headaches i might have one but i said no im fine because i wanted to play. so i took the head medicine no big deal then went to my neighbors and they were smoking marijuana now i have done this about 3 times in the summer and my dads a DEA agent and told me the affects and i decided to stop. hockey season was almost over and it was a 5 day weekend so i figured ill do it one more time then im done and boom my life was changed .... i took a few hits from a bowl and right away i was out of it i was really trippy walked home screming crying and eventually my parents caled me down and i went to sleep and woke up the next day all shaky still and still feeling high. for the next week i was fine still feeling like i had a weed hangover but it was no huge deal and i just kept playing hockey kept doing the usual and i was a little dizzy and light headed alot and my headaches stopped. about 3 weeks later as the date was Febuary 28th i had a JV championship game for highschool as i am a freshmen palying jv and varsity second line i played defense for fun on JV and during the game i hit someone and not a big hit whatsoever no one fell but as i did i got the worst headache i skated off to the bench and sat down for 5 minutes without telling the coaches i got one and i was now really dizzy and continued to finish the game, eventually the game thinking i was just dehydrated thats why i was dizzy since i didnt know what concussions were like even aftrer this i never stopped playing hockey the next weekend was the last weekend of my travel games so i played the game and was hitting the hole time having fun with my friends for the last game which was on like feb 30th , the day after that i was at my grandmas and i was playing basketball with my brother and dad at a local highschool gym and toward the end i got really dizzy this time i had to say something so i told my mom and dad and they said maybe im dehydrated or something and i drank and honestly the feeling went away in 10 minutes 2 days later it was tuesday in class and i went into a fog where i couldnt sit still and the hole entire time i was like talking loud to my friends and i just felt so weird and was saying to myself whats worth living this class is awful and i hate it and i was really not good then the next period i was totally fine talking to my friends and that day after school at 4 a bunch of my friends went to a friends house who has a basketball court to play and i went with them so i played all day and when my mom picked me up i felt really dizzy again i didnt say a word though and then when i got home it was the usual tuesday where me my mom and brother (my dad being at work) watched a show called the river.... at the end of the show it was time to go to bed and i got up feeling weird and continued walking to my bed and after laying in my bed for 2 minutes i immediatly got petrified something was wrong my vision was really foggy/blurry/fuzzy my eye movements were weird i have a "STROBE LIGHT" effect with them and i remember crying asking my dad being a dea agent if this could be an effect from the marijuana i smoked 2-3 weeks ago and he said no it wouldnt effect me this late like this it would of happened right away and i finally just went to sleep the next day i wake up with the same scary feeling went to doctors, said i have post concussion sydnrome didnt say anything abought the marijauana and 2 days later i went back to normal at like 9pm at night i remember being so happy it was over and sleeping then waking up the next day and it was back again..... Ever since then ive had this.... Its been like 2 and 3/4 months into it im now going to a neurologist and my next visit is in a week and im done im telling him about the marijauana and seeing his opinion and ps a few times after being diagnosed and sitll ahving awful symptoms i decided to go to hockey practice because i thought i was just being a baby and having anxiety over a concussion that went away which isnt that case now.... i was getting better little by little but played alot of xbox yesterday and today am bad again... after havign like 3 weeks of getting better my question to you guys is PERSONALLY do you think the marijuana has anything to do with this or did i get a concussion not knowing and get another at my jv game so now i have this PCS thanks and please get back to me sending a text would be lovely or an email my email is*Edit*since i probably wont log on here again i have no idea how to work it so can someone please get back to me thank you! and im wondering if anyone has the same symptoms which is my vision is very off im lightheaded, sleeping alot, a bit confused, not the best memory, and feeling like im in a world of my own after feeling better that one day and seeing the difference.... i try to do things to stall time and hope this will get better well someone please get back to me and thankyou! P.S as of right now school is over in 15 days and im getting tutored for my work

Hi and welcome
it really is not a good idea to give out your personal info like email, phone # etc on public forums so I have edited those out for your protection. Posts here get indexed on Google etc

Angry PCS 15 Year Old need advice

to start ill give you a little backround, im 15 year olds and was playing hockey about 4 months ago and got laid out and my mom brought up me having to be careful and making sure i dont feel weird with any concussion effects.... i felt 100% fine and continued to paly i was afreshmen playing varsity hockey. About a week later i took some medicine for headaches and the sun was bothering me no big deal. 2 weeks after this i was still playing hockey and was in a JV championship because freshmen have to play JV and varsity but whatever, some kid was skating down and i hit him.... it was not a big hit whatsoever none of us fell nothing happened but it was helmet to helmet , imeddieatly after the hit i got dizzy and the worst headache..

. i happen to be brought up with a dad who has a love for sports and like any father teaches his son and me being a tough kid pretty much im saying i wasnt gonna be a baby and sit out ... however i did not know anyhting about concussions i just knew people who got them and sat out for a week or two and never thought about them. so i continued playing that day and i was all shaky and had a headache but i palyed through it. i woke up the next day feeling pretty much back to normal so i continued playing hockey for the next 2 full weeks...

after those 2 weeks it was a sunday at my grandmas for mothers day im pretty sure it was and i played baskebtall their and went inside to sit down and boom i was very dizzy/blurrred fuzzy vision all that stuff and it lasted 5 minuntes of me putting down my head i picked it up and i was 100 % fine... i was their telling my parents they said i was dehydrated , then that tuesday at school it was spanish class and i got a really weird weird feeling like i was disconected from stuff and i jut was saying crazy things to my self and couldn't stand still and i felt like i did at my grandmas 4x worse....

i just toughed out the day then after school we all played basketball at a friends house form like 3-8 o'clock with this feeling i kept playing then i got home at 8 and me my mom and brother watched a show called "the rivER" the show was over at 10 and right away after it i stood up to walk to the stairs felt very weird kept walking but as i was half way up the stairs it wasnt good... i felt like i did at my grandmas x10000 and had a panic attack i felt like i was in a dream and didnt know what was happening .... i was screaming that night petrified then the next morning we went to my doctor and i was diagnosed with PCS , now it has been 3 months about im going to a neurologist and my vision is still very off, i get headches, and im light headed alot but i also hacve this really weird feeling of like confusion i would say, and i feel sometimes like everything is a dream and this isnt really hapening....

. like in a bad brain fog i tell my doctor and he says its normal with PCS just to ignore my symptoms.... so ive been doing that fine but i have two questions.... 1.) is this feeling of being in a dream and stuff common from PCS? also i think it can be from my vision being so bad so i panic a little from not being able to see as good for the last months me usualy having 20/20 vision, and also 2.)Will this feeling ever go away? im not a kid to sit here and dwell on stuf even tho i miss playing hockey but all i need to be told is that yes i will be fine with time as my doctor says.... i will sit here ignoring everything till this feeling goes away.... i was talking to a few people at my brothers prom picture gathering and one of their sons had a concussion like mine for 5 months....

i was just wondering if this was normal or atleast a symptom of PCS and i feel like i mix up words alot more now and cant think as straight... well thank you and someone please get back to me and also my dad said i probably had a few concussions in a short period before this i never felt a concusion, he said many football players have the same thing as me that are older that hey had to go through but i kinda feel like no one knows like how bad this feeling is that im going through, im just ignoring it untill it goes away and i dont look for attention my parents know that but i think they think i exxagerate a little on how i feel well someone help me out and thanks!
