Default loss of taste and smell why me

i am looking for people that could help me with support i have no where to turn i fell down last december and loss my sense of taste and smell i had vertigo and it went away then i had clogged ears that went away that is 2 positive wondering if that is a good sign what are my chances of gaining that back i am so depressed have taken amoxicillian, steriods, z pack, and know on vitamons, just looking for positive feedback
