Default so glad i am not alone

Hi there, for 4 years we thought we were alone in this thing, up until now! My sister was diagnosed with Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis 4 years ago. She went for numerous treatments - even chemo, but in January 2012 we got the news that there is nothing more they can do for her, but now we do not know what to expect, she can still walk but barely, at times she is extremely confused.

Thank you to all that welcomed me! I already feel at home, for those who read about my thread about my sisters toe; we went to the neuro today and I'm glad to report that it is not part of the illness - BUT - they said it could because her muscles are cramping up that may have caused it, she got antibiotics for it, now let's hope it gets better!

I have another Question though for those who have ppms;- please don't take offense

Everybody I spoke to, it seems it took YEARS to progress to such a point where they struggle with everyday tasks, my sister it just took 1 year, could it be that her MS is extremely aggressive?

Lots of hugs to all my new friends

Regards,
Sadsister (Darlene)
