Confused I am new here and I am interested in your Pet forum

Hi all, I am new at this, but I like information on some vet medications. I live in Western Canada.
Our 2 dogs died of kidney failure, one in February, one in March (he was only 1 year old), both were on the same medication for pain. Our dogs had usually dry food, but once a week a treat of can food, which we are not sure, if it was one of the recalled ones.
Thanks to all. Any info might help.

Thank you for the links and your concern. We read all the food on the list, but we can,t remember which one we bought as a treat, so it is hard to say, if it was the food, or the medication. The vet told us the meds were safe, but what we found on the internet told us a different story.
If you raise two dogs from 8 weeks old on they are just like your babies and it's very painful to lose them at the same time.

Hi Jo, Thank you for your concern, they were both Shi Tzu's, very social and lovable.
