Exclamation Hello

Hello, I am not sure what I exactly need to do to be apart of this family, but I am willing to do and learn what I need to do.

Recently, my grandso who is turning 2, has been having seizures. He is going to have VNS surgery in the near future. I just have many questions that I have been told I could get answered here.

Thank you,
Mary

Default Hello Mary

Welcome to neuro talk. Just posting like you did is great. I hope alot of others come by to say hi and greet you. This is a great site with alot of compassionate people. I have been here two years. Never left, as I did find an extended family. I hope you make some friends.
I am not sure what the letters stood for with the condition your grandson has. Others will though and will guide you. Up at the top there is a "search" bar. Click on that, and type in the letters you used for the condition. It will bring you to that forum. I am sorry your family is going through a medical issue. Someone on this site will know alot more than I do. I just wanted you to know you found some good people, that will try to help you. Write anything you want, with any questions or concerns you have. NT will try to get you in the right direction. ginnie

Question Briar

Hello I am new to Neuro talk. I had a brain aneursym rupture May 9 2012. I survived and am grateful for all of of the people around me that made that happen.I am American 50 and am and expat teacher and I live in India I am only now beginning to understand the magnitude of what happened. I have another surgery to repair the boneflap removed in the emergency May surgery and an angiogram. There are many things to consider now - how to live my life what changes to make family job responsibilities and this online support group should be helpful and comforting. Thank you to all that have offered. I am often so fatigued that it is difficult to logically make all the decisions that I come to. This will provide help and insight.
