Default New Member - Caretaker for Parkinson's Patient

I hope It's OK for me to be part of things here - I'm taking care of my spouse who has Parkinson's. I do not have the disease; actually I have chronic disease myself called panhypopituitarism which involves the total loss of pituitary gland function. My husband's illness was diagnosed 3 months ago and he has been in and out of rehab facility for much of that time. I always understood Parkinson's to be a slowly developing disease but it seems to be moving much faster in my husband's case. Are there differences in Parkinson's rate of progression? Thanks for any info about this.
