Default Hello all! I'm Pooh.........

One of my fellow moderators on another forum introduced me to this forum. She thought perhaps I could find someone else with similiar problems stemming from PN.

I have had Sjogren's Syndrome for over 40 yrs., but only dx'd about 12 - 13 yrs. ago, so it got a good hold on me in that time. Besides the usual joint pain, fatigue and dryness I developed Periphrael Neuropathy. The latter is really frustrating me to the point of losing it.

Most of the people I have related this to and discussed with all have the same answer for me. "You seem to have more going on than just PN". So far my neuro hasn't found what is causing my problem.

Anyway, just wanted to say hello and hope everyone is coping with what ever problem they have.

Smile Hello Pooh...

It's very nice to meet you! Welcome to NeuroTalk. I hope you find some help here, and make some new friends. Your short description of your illness sort of intrigues me, because I've been dealing with a condition for the past five years where the primary symptom is pain. And I keep hearing the same thing as you. They say I have FMS, PN, and other things, but everyone says they think I have something else going on that's causing it all, only they have no idea what it is. So I know how very frustrating that can be. I wish you luck in sorting out your condition, and hope to see you around in the future!

Default You should all come over --

--to the peripheral neuropathy forum:

--and especially look at Silverlady's posts; she has Sjogren's, associated neuropathy, and other associated conditions, and is very knowledgable.

Default Hello pooh

I can really relate to "you have a lot going on" these were the exact words my GP used when I last saw him. My neurologist has ordered a full body MRI which hopefully will come up with some answers!
