Hello everyone with shunts. I am experiencing horrible abdominal pain and I am pregnant, now 6 months. My shunt is actually outling my uterus and poking into my bladder. I will have to have c-section and am worried about the shooting pains and that the c-section will lead to me having my shunt revised. I have had the shunt for 10 year due to large intraventricular cyst. Have had pain in my abdomen since it was originally placed. Had 3 revisions in 2007. Has anyone else gone through a pregnancy and had similar pains?
