Hi everybody! I'm completely new to this game and haven't a clue how to find my way around everything here, but I guess I will learn.
I'm Scottish and have now been living in Turkey for five years.
I basically joined this to find and gives support to those of you out there who have degenerative disc problems affecting the spine.
Fourteen weeks ago I went through a three Level ACDF. I felt fine until I took my collar off permanently, at six weeks.
At present, I'm struggling with stabbing pains behind my wound, still slight trouble swallowing and my numbness has come back overnight in my hands. I also have other numbness which wasn't there before!
I have reasonable neck movement but wonder why my problems from before have returned (+ others! )
Anyone out there who can reassure me!!?
