Default Bowel obstruction

Hi,

My husband is in hospital, he was vomitting dark brown liquid last night and they think its a bowel obstruction.

He had his first shunt for hrdocephalus at 8 months and his 2nd at 11 years. He always has extremely painful stomach cramps when he has a tummy bug.

The doc hasnt seen him yet but they had a sonar and there seems to be bowel swelling and a build up of matter.

Has anyone else had this?
Thanks
B
