Wink Cavernous Angioma

I am a 19 year old with three surgeries due to hydrocephalus. It all started when I was 3 years old and they discovered the hydrocephalus. I had an internal shunt placed to reroute the flow inside the brain. Then after 3 surgeries over the last 10 years , my old shunt could not keep up with the hydrocphalus and my balance became bad. So they placed a VP shunt external and that takes care of it. I still have balance problems.

Well hi there.

It's always so nice to have young people join our forum. Not that it's nice that you have to deal with shunts, etc, but that you found us. We are a nice bunch of people and I'm sure others more knowing that I am will come along and direct you to the proper forum.

You are a very brave young person and I hope you have good things coming your way in life.

You certainly deserve this.

Just know that I send you a cyber hug

You take care

Melody
