Confused Crps

Hi, this is my first post so I guess I tell you just in short about my story. In early March of this year I had an operation on my thumb which triggered CRPS mainly in my wrist. At first nobody could tell me what was happening and after two unsuccessful visits to hospital, it was on my second visit to my hand therapist that I was told what I had. I have since exercised and massaged religiously & thought I was getting somewhere but suddenly it just got worse. It has now spread into my shoulder and the maddening itch that came with this stage has also spread to my other hand. I am at my wits end, totally depressed with no hope (bar a Miracle) in sight. So that's my story and I guess others must have similar tales to tell.

Sorry to hear you are having to learn of this disease. I doubt too many people know about CRPS before they get it. I have a terrific pain management doctor team. They have helped me - there are different procedures that they can do and stand to be more successful early in the process. I hope you can find some relief.

Hey

Sorry you're having problems with crps. I don't have that but I understand it's very difficult to live with.

There's lots of info here. You can find people who will understand what you're talking about.

Feel free to look around and search for things.

Take care...
