Default tethered cord surgery

just wondering if anyone else has has a child go through surgery for tethered cord.
My dd is 2 and diagnosed with spinal dysraphism at birth, more recently has lost reflex in left leg and changes incontinence.

scheduled for surgery in November and I would appreciate any advice so I know what to expect.
