Confused Pins and needles feeling/ Dr's have no clue!

I need to know if anyone has this happen to them...I have recently been dx with Chiari Malformation and have had been treated for migraines for over 30 years..My very weird problem which no dr can seem to tell me what is going on is that during the fall and winter months when my body temperature goes up I get terrible sensation of prickly or pins/needle sensation all over...This has happened that last 3 years...I asked my pcp, he said to ask my nuero, he in turn said to ask my endo dr...One says it's hormonal the other says it's neuro...Needless to say none of them no what in the heck is going on..And it only happens during the fall and winter months which I am dreading coming up!!! I'm not sure that the Chiari has anything to do with it but I would love to know if anyone has gone through this!!!

llhoover,

I am not sure if these are symptoms of your disease, but it sounds like a form of Neuropathy. Maybe you have some other issue along with your disease. The unusual part is for it to only happen in the cold months. Which says to me that it may be something vascular. Our blood vessels constrict in the cold.
Anyway, I hope you find your answers here at Neurotalk. I would check around to different forums and definitely check the Neuropathy form.
