Confused Postconcussion syndrome

I have had the problem a little over 13 months. I was hit by a car and thrown and knocked out for about 3 hours. Dislocated knee, lower back pain, neckpain and head problems. I was wearing a fire helmet and protecticive gear, as I was a vol. fireman directing traffic at an accident scene. My knee is pretty well corrected as well as my back. My neck still bothers me alot and I can not turn my neck in any direction very far. I have had MRI's and CT's. The neck Dr. says arthritis disloged and can't do any thing. I have been in Pt for approx 10 mon. no real help. Neck feels good with
heat sometimes and message but only lasts for an hour or so.
Now the head problem! Still have constant dull headaches . Now 1 or 2 as compared to 4 or 5. Taste has come back some. My hair still hurts! Memory problems, studdering problems, emotions, I"m seeing a nuroigist, psychogist,
brain specialist. Once in while I get a headache so bad nothing will calm it down and I have to go to ER and get shots of delaudin. Am I going nuts!

Yes I am taking tons of pills: Topomax, amitriptylyn, effexor

Hello, Welcome to NeuroTalk.

Have you considered seeing a chiropractor for an evaluation?

Chiropractic care info- a good one can help with many symptoms:
http://www.upcspine.com/self.htm
http://www.uppercervical.org/subpag...b/about_faq.php
http://www.spineuniverse.com/index.html
http://www.coloradochiropractic.org/.../glossary.html

Is there any hand or arm pain?
If you hold arms overhead or out in front for awhile is there any pain, heaviness or problems?
If so you might want to read at our TOS forum.
