Default neuropathy of feet

Hello from California! I'm sooo confused!! Tests found Sulfatide levels high. Neur Doc is trying to find cause behind "Sensory Neuropathy". I have had numness of feet which started with big toes and has progressed to entire foot. I am not diabetic. Any thoughts, suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks

Default Hi Saundra Faye

Hello from Florida. Glad you found Neuro Talk. A warm welcome to you. There are alot of people who have SN or PN of some kind on this site. I do as well in my foot and ankle. I use a lotion which numbs the pins and needle sensation and also helps with burning. Would gladly post this for you, to ask your doctor about. For me it does help. You will make some friends here and find the support you need. take care, ginnie

Question

Did you have a sulfatide test? or this one for neuropathy, which is an antibody test to sulfatide?

This explains what an anti-sulfatide antibody test shows:
