Hi gang. I am 47 and a father of six, ages 5-20 and married. Started getting concussions in teen years playing football. Depression also started then. Also played minor league football in my early forties. Suffered a severe concussion then, was out for several minutes. Things really started to spiral down then. That was in 2006. Have since lost a few jobs, depression has gotten severe. Memory loss is bad, concentration sucks, sleeping difficulty, swallowing difficulty. Marriage is hurting. My wife says I am a completely different person. She is hurting. I don't like to talk. Prefer to isolate. It is bad. Probably have had a dozen concussions over the years.
