Default New Member Question

I'm a new member without any firm diagnosis yet except for blocked leg vessels causing nerve and foot pain.
The diagnosis seems to be related to inflammation, perhaps an autoimmune issue and the direction seems to be prednisone followed by a stent in the upper leg to try to encourage more blood flow to lower leg.
Can anyone shed light on this? It's come out of the blue for me and I suddenly can't walk on my foot, put a shoe on etc It's brought my life to a standstill.

Default Hello collie

Welcome to Neuro Talk. You found a place that has alot of supportive people. Auto immune conditions are sometimes hard to diagnose. MrsD may have some of the best knowledge on that subject. I take it you have been to a vascular specialist? I hope more people respond to this post to help you. I wish you all the best. I just read another post about a gent unable to get a DX from Mayo clinic with some dismay, as that place, and teaching hospitals are where I usually recommend to go. I have auto immune conditions, and Mayo is where they diagnosed me. ginnie
