Default looking for support

Hi! My mom has paraneoplastic syndrome. It has affected her ability to walk, her fine motor skills, and her speech. I am interested in helping her find some online support, such as other people who have this syndrome and how they are dealing with it. Is this site appropriate for that kind of support?

thanks for your help!

Hi,. Glad you found us. Yes, your Mother will find support at this site. People here have a variety of problems, and chances are, someone if not many people will share your mother's problem.

There are plenty of people who will give her emotional support, and most likely have some ideas or leads for her as well. Click on the "NeuroTalk Support Groups and you will have a choice of several forums to choose from.

I hope you and your Mother will be comfortable here.

Hello zeldaout,
Welcome to the NeuroTalk Support Groups.

It is my understanding that paraneoplastic syndromes are divided into different catagories.

Knowing that catagory would help determine the best forum for you to read and post from the main index page.
http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/index.php

Also there is a forum search feature here. You can type in the keyword paraneoplastic and that will bring up past posts across the forums.

Please let us know if you need any help navigating
take care
